LS Media is seeking a strong, mid-level PHP Developer.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• HTML/XHTML, PHP 5, MySQL, CSS, Ajax
• Basic Linux server administration
• Knowledge of industry best practices relating to web server firewalls and security
• Basic working knowledge of search engine optimization
• Troubleshooting such as basic office networks, printers, wireless connectively, internet connection issues, etc.
• Familiarity with PHP MVC frameworks desirable (but not required)
• Knowledge of popular open source web applications such as Joomla, WordPress, osCommerce
• PLUSES - Smarty Template Engine, JSP, PostgreSQL

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

• Client Facing, By phone, email, and in-person meetings
• Independent worker w/ time management skills. Must be able to manage multiple projects & deadlines.
• Creative problem solver & outside-of-the-box thinker. Find ways to exploit technology rather than be limited by it.
• Proactive, optimistic & can-do attitude
• Must enjoy the challenges of multiple projects
• Work late when necessary to meet deadlines
• Extremely detail oriented
